Meet the Doctors

Dr. Nicholas A. Krause

Dr. Krause is an Iowa native, growing up in Sioux City. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, he was a licensed Funeral Director in Cresco, Dyersville, and Sioux City, Iowa.

Dr. Krause began his pre-chiropractic education at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa where he received his BS degree in Business and Computer Science. He then attended mortuary school at Kansas City Kansas Community College receiving the Robert O' Todd award for academic excellence. After six years as a Funeral Director, he wanted a change to spend more time with his family and moved to Davenport, Iowa where he attended and graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He received the John Connolly Memorial Award for the Most Outstanding Graduate.

Dr. Krause founded Chiropractic First Wellness Center in 2004. He is a member of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Krause enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife Kim and their three young boys, Collin, Dawson and Caiden.

Dr. Tony Parks

Dr. Tony owns and operates his own private practice within Chiropratic First Wellness Center.

Dr. Tony has been practicing since 2004, upon his graduation from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota where he graduated with high honors.

Dr. Tony practiced through 2006 at Family Chiropractic Clinic as an independent contractor and has since joined Dr. Krause at Chiropractic First Wellness Center.

Dr. Tony had previously managed Crossroads Coast-to-Coast Hardware and assisted his brother-in-law with the management of Grandma's Kitchen in the Silver Lake Shopping Center.

Dr. Tony enjoys spending time with his wife, Sue and his children, Shane, Kyle and Megan. He also is an active volunteer in Boy Scouts, Junior Achievement and through his church.

They seek to improve their patients' health and wellness in all areas of their lives.  The doctors enjoy treating the "whole person" in their work as chiropractors, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, usually arising from imbalances in the spinal column.  Under our supervision and care, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.
